First things to know !

This is a basic clock that the description needs to be tweaked.

This neat little unit is a 24HR display only

There is no automatic anti cathode poisoning feature ( more on that in a bit)

The Led colour lights do not cycle on there own , you can manually change them though

You can turn the led lights off by activating sound detection mode on then off again which will just be the numbers left on .

The two single display lamps can be made to flash, remain on or be turned off

So there you have it , the remote works well , press menu to activate time input mode ..key the numbers from hours , minutes, seconds and you're done .

It's a pretty little clock , looks brilliant anywhere you put it.

I leave mine on in the day and set it to sound detection mode at night

The cable supplied is about 1.5m long

There are physical clickers on the unit but the remote makes it easier

Very easy to read , your family will keep looking at it as Will you.

You home will evolve into a steam punk inspired pad

There is a manual test button on the remote that cycles the numbers on the clock , personally I haven't done it yet as I've left the clock on during the day

Genuine in-14 tubes as the the five is an upside down two , the tubes are genuinely regarded as having a long life span due to their build

Clock it's self is very well made

It seems to me to be a high-quality item with an extremely original design, which is why I decided to buy both watches. Greetings from México.

I bought this clock and originally had some issues getting it to work properly. It looks like its as due to my power supply. It did not work with my iPhone USB-C charger or another USB-C charger I have on my desk to charge everything else. It did finally work however with a different cable. The clock is really neat but it says on the description 12/24 hour. I have not been able to find in the directions or get a response from NIWA about how to change it to 12 hour mode. That is a big problem for me. I was also told it had the rolling number casino effect on the minute changes to help prevent tube poisoning. It doesn't seem to do that either. I see the button on the remove to change the colors but not turn them off. So when the clock restarts from on/off it starts up with the LEDs on which I personally not want on.

​I am very grateful for the support I've received so far with my Niwa wristwatch and desk clock purchases. I highly recommend their products. I just wish there was a more complete manual for this clock. Is there a date (calendar) function? Is there an anti-poisoning function?
